I work at the Boeing company; I was walking through the factory one day and I saw a small green mill on a pallet - turns out it was a Benchmaster. Not sure what it was used for, or where it was going, but that gave me an opportunity to see one up close. I placed an eBay wanted add for a Benchmaster mill and received a reply from a gentlemen in South Dakota. Fortunately, he was willing to work with me. Someone on craigslist was looking for a passenger on a trip to South Dakota (about 30 min from where my mill was) - I contacted them and offered to pay them to bring the mill back on their return. They agreed. The mill arrived fine, and all was as described.

The mill came with two vises (one is way too big for this mill); a number of very dull endmills, and a bit of dirty paper.

My Dad happened to buy a Benchmaster a few months ahead of me, my Dad's Benchmaster did not come with a helmet - so I sent mine off to Cattail Foundry and they made a very decent copy. I painted it to match his mill, and made a decal from photos of the decal on my mill's helmet - the last photo shows the reproduction helmet installed on my Dad's mill.
