Very rare Hendey #1 High Speed Lathe. These were made by Hendey to be able to turn surfaces at high speeds (up to 5000 rpm) with very fine feeds to be able to produce a turned finish as good as a ground finish. No thread turning as the speeds are too high and feeds too fine. Exquisitely made machine!
