W. F. & John Barnes Co. # 3 Velocipede wood lathe. This is a foot powered and highly stenciled and decorated model with three leather belts (appear original). This item has not been restored and does not show any attempt at restoration. It has been in my family for over 40 years. This model was built circa 1886-1929. The name of the company and Rockford, ILL. U.S. A. is on both bases as well as the number 3.
