This item belonged to my grandfather who was a self employed finish carpenter. I was told that he made this in his high school shop class. The machine does not have any manufacturer stamp or name plate. The electric motor was converted from 25Hz to 60Hz.

I would like to keep the item, however I don't have much use for a bandsaw and I don't want to sell it to someone who wouldn't appreciate it's history.

I had someone contact me last year and he subsequently asked my permission to post the pictures of the bandsaw on this website. So, I'm hoping to find someone that is interested in restoring this classic.
