12" United States Electrical Tool Co. Pedestal Grinder.
This grinder is massive , 440 volts 3 phase. I was going to have local motor shop rewind it to 220volts 3 phase for around $300 dollars and then use a VFD to control the speed.
Then I changed my plan and it should go to a person that works more with metal and I am a woodworker. I will give you a new VFD if you want to rewind it to 220 Volts.
I call the company 8 years ago and they were still in business before I bought it, I gave him the s/n of the grinder and he told me it was order and shipping date was 1941 ( he said for the war effort ), he said they sold basically the same grinder new today for around $8000 that was in 2010.
