I have inherated an early 1900's Champion Tool Works Co flat belt metal lathe in full working condition. The lathe has an added 3/4 hp motor added to make the flat belt work. I have pictures, see below. lThe lathe will come with the chuck but no cutters or tool holders. I believe my uncle purchased this from his work in the 1980's as he did buy a tool holder then. My uncle passed away about 3 years ago and I have been undecided on what to do with this lathe since. I believe the working flat belt lathe is worth many thousands of dollars but for here I am asking $600.00 and will hope it stays in the club members and not be resold for profit. Please send inquires to me via message only, thank you.
Update: This is For Sale in SE PA area. I located 7 change gears that go with this lathe and a 8" plate that screws on where the 4 jaw chuck is currently located. I will consider offers lower than the $2,000.00 price but offers that are an insult will not be responded to. I will add a picture of the gears and the plate here. I believe I got the pictures on my Photo Bucket website. I tried to get both short movies on there but only one is there now, I have the carriage moving left and right.
Please note that I will take $600.00 for lathe and 4 jaw vise. |
