I am a volunteer at the Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association machine shop museum. We have a donation of a Garvin horizontal mill and we don't have the space to display it or store it. We would like to sell it and have the buyer pick it up at the donator's location.
The mill is a Garvin No. 21 Plain of about 1919 vintage and has an electric motor but I have not run it. I am not sure of the HP or voltage. The over-arm is present but laying on the floor. There are some arbors stored in the pedestal but I don't have a pic. Spindle is B&S 10 taper according to the literature here on VM.
Check out pages 50 and 51 in the 1919 Garvin catalog for more detailed info.
If we get $500 for the lathe we will assist with loading. |
