These two recently restored pedestals came from 1939-1944 Delta Carbide and Triple Duty Grinders, and represent the pinnacle of grinder cast metal pedestal designs and are very representative of the Art Deco era. With perfect seams on each side, these units have no chips or weld marks. Each pedestal was stripped down to bare metal/primer and carefully painted with modern Rustoleum spray paint. There is no finer grinder pedestal design out there in my opinion. See Pictures of a stunning paint scheme on this type of pedestal at "Daddy's Workshop of the Carolinas" (DWC) on YouTube (within the DWC YouTube location, look under "triple duty grinder restoration"). These pedestals are identical to the unit at DWC and can be custom painted if you want to try your hand at creating your own look. At this point the first $375 full price offer will receive one of these units as is, the other unit is already sold. |
