Old surface grinder from the 60's - 70's. these machines were built to work and work and work! Cast iron bodies and heavy-duty motors. Keith Rucker completely rebuilt one of these machines on his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30-i0FRfnsA

my company is moving away from these manual machines into cnc machines and we no longer have a need for this Thompson grinder.
it was used for grinding down graphite molds. it has a magnetic chuck 12" x 30".
estimated weight of 6000lbs. this machine was last in service in November of 2023. it is occupying space in our shop and we don't plan on putting it back into service.
this machine is looking for a new home. Still functioning. please don't hesitate to ask any questions. make me a reasonable offer and its yours.
