Oliver 299-VT 24" Belt Driven Planer, 1990 Model, 220-440 3-phase (wired 220V). Straight knife machine with original factory shaving hood, adjustable table rollers, instructions and parts list.

This was not fitted with a grinding attachment from the factory. It was shipped to a small woodworking and cabinet shop in Ohio. The pictures show a very "dusty" machine. I know the shaving hood has paint issues -- I have seen this on other Oliver machines of that vintage.

I bought this with grand ideas of installing single phase motors and rebuilding it...I have two other 299 planers and decided I really need only one...if you are looking for a good machine that is reasonably priced this would be the ideal.

Asking $6,795 loaded on truck or trailer. Will skid and wrap for buyer at cost. Can assist with shipping arrangements if needed.

I have a friend who is a dealer for spiral cutterheads and he can get me a head for $2,850 plus shipping for this machine. I would be happy to arrange this for the buyer, and might know of someone interested in a straight knife head and could help sell that.
