I picked this power scraper up at auction, gave it a bit of tlc to get it running but since then have acquired some new machines which necessitates sending this one out the door, hopefully into your shop.
Anderson Bros power scraper made in Rockford, IL uses a dual gear rack arm with a scraper blade attached to transmit power from a rotating gear to the gear rack as you apply pressure down to the workpiece. A single 1/4 hp motor supplies power to the arm, the power feed for raising/lowering the height of the arm and an integrated grinder for sharpening blades. The lever in the base raises and lowers the machine onto central swivel casters allowing it to be moved around easily.
