With a heavy heart I'm selling my beloved 32" Crescent Bandsaw. Unfortunately this saw did not have number plate on it when I bought it but using the resources on Vintage Machinery, it seems like its from about 1945. The previous owner had the motor professionally rewound and new sealed bearings installed in the motor and the upper wheel assembly. He also had new tires put on and crowned. It looks like there was some damage to the saw at some point in its life as the upper wheel guide/gibs were braised. additionally the upper wheel door looks like it broke and was repaired but none of the damage effects how the saw operates. I have owned her for the last 4 years and the saw functions beautifully. My hope is that she will find a new loving home. I'm happy work with Ruckers to get this saw to her new caretaker.
Here are the details:
3 HP 3Ph motor Runs on 1 phase 220 through KB Electronics VFD 32" throat 12" resaw capacity Carter bearings quiet, powerful and ready to work I will include a pallet jack to move it around about 89 1/2" tall with the feet on it. The feet are there so I can use the pallet jack to move it around the shop but the feet can be removed if you wish.
