A 36" free standing, water tub mounted, 24" x 2 1/4" grinding stone wheel.
This unit was manufactured between 1869 - 1899 during the time The Niles Tool Works Co., was so named.
It is in excellent useable condition, though foot pedal would need to be fabricated to turn the wheel hands free, as it stands, a simple line looped around the foot can pump it to rotate, no problem, but an tiny electric motor would be nice for grinding extensively.
