This is a monster jointer in great condition. It came from an Alcoa pattern shop in Massena New york. It has a 7.5 hp 460V three phase motor. The cutterhead is VELVET smooth. I believe it was converted from babbet bearings to ball bearings. I can send you a picture of the cutterhead spinning for a long time just on its angular momentum. I can take some pics to confirm if it is important to the buyer (or should I say its new steward). To be honest I am torn about selling it. Its a beautiful old jointer. I think one of the prettiest out there. I have both a 16" and 20" JA Fay & Egan Jointer and I cant justify owning both.
