This company was primarily a used machinery dealer, but they apparently manufactured some machines as well. They were active between about 1902 and 1920.

	- Used machine seen in ca. 1920 Cordesman-Rechtin catalog. Since Louis E. Rechtin & Bro. had an ad in the October 1920 issue of "The Wood-Worker", and the same issue had a used Cordesman-Rechtin machine for sale, Cordesman-Rechtin was either before Louis E. Rechtin & Bro., or contemporaneous with it.

- 1920 Census "Proprietor Machine Shop"

- 1930 Census "Sales Agent Woodworking Machinery"

Louis had two sons, Edward and Vincent Gladstone:
	- 1920 Census Edward is a "Draughtsman Machine Tools" and Vincent Gladstone is working for an electrical company but I couldn't decipher the handwriting as to his occupation.

	- 1930 Census Edward is a "Salesman & Bookeeper Advertising" and Vincent is a "Salesman Machinery".

	- Edward's 1942 draft registration card list "Cincinnati Lathe Co." and Vincent "US Playing Card Co".
