Asa Goddard & James J. May have formed a co-partnership under the firm name of Asa Goddard & Company, and will continue the business of manufacturing Blacksmith's Drills formerly carried on by Asa Goddard, Worcester, Mass. They announce that they are now furnishing the Goddard Drills with anti-friction ball bearings at the point where the pressure is brought to bear, which forces the drill bit into the work. The firm state that they have tested this feature under all conditions, and find that it creates a saving of from 25 to 50 per cent, in power required of the operator.
