Kenco Manufacturing Co. was established in Los Angeles, CA, in 1950 as a manufacturer of punch presses. The name was later changed to
Kenco Press Co. Kenco was acquired by the
Teledyne Corp. in 1967 and moved to a Teledyne plant in North Tonawanda, NY. In August 1992, Teledyne and Kenco were sold to Kenneth Slawson. The company is still operated in the North Tonawanda plant as a division of
Taber Industries.
