Ideal Machine Works manufactured the Ideal twist drill grinder in bench and pedestal styles and the Ideal hand planer for iron, in the 1900 to 1909 period. The planer was lever-operated and could be attached to a bench or held in a vise. The company's address was 255-57 39th St., Brooklyn.
