Syntron Co. manufactured electric hammers and a worm-drive circular saw around 1930. They later made industrial material-handling vibrators and gasoline-powered pavement breakers. In 1950 they introduced a circular saw with dual V-belt drive. Link-Belt Co. acquired Syntron Co. in Nov. 1955. By 1972 they were Syntron Division, FMC Corp.
