In 1870 Charles W. Bills of 76 Sudbury Street in Boston was manufacturing steam engines, pumps, shafting and pulleys. By 1871 Bills had become the junior partner of William W. in W. W. Graham & Co., at the same address and offering the same products and services. That business continued until at least 1879. By 1882 the partnership was succeeded by, once again, Charles W. Bills, still operating at the same address and still offering the same products and services.
