In 1946 Pecco Tools of Ottawa was selling a home-shop scrollsaw.

We learned of this maker from a saw that appeared on a local buy-and-sell site.
1946-06-20 Ottawa Journal, page 23, in the Classified Ads: "JIG SAWS. 12 inch throat, 2 Inch maximum thickness; wood, metal. I plastics. Pecco Tools. 4-7364." An ad from the June 10 issue of the same newspaper describes a 24 inch saw, which may be the same size saw but specified like a bandsaw or lathe; price was $17.85 each.
