Beginning in about 1949, Aage Jensen was doing business under the name Waterborg Machine Co., and manufactured a disk-sanding head, the "Scan-O-Matic" hydraulic tracer attachment for milling machines, and a milling attachment for a drill press. At some point in the 1960s the business name changed to Scan-O-Matic, Inc. A 1999 renewal of a trademark registration suggests that Jensen was still running the business 50 years after he began.
