In the late 1940s through to the mid-1960s this firm made "BeMaCo" saw filing and setting machines for hand and band saws. According to several Google Books snippet views from 1965-1966, Holly K. Robinson (1909-2011), president of Beaver, sold his company to Nielsen Corp. of Eugene, OR, and went to work for Nielsen. In 1968 Nielsen was sold to conglomerate Bell Industries Electronics Corp., renamed Bell Industries in Nov. 1971.

The cover of the BeMaCo saw setter instructions has the names of Bell Industries and Burr Manufacturing Co., so these companies also distributed or perhaps manufactured the saw setter.
