N0. 1 Universal Cutter and Reamer Grinding Machine
This machine is designed for sharpening straight or spiral milling cutters, face mills, end mills, and straight or taper reamers.
The machine will grind on centers a cutter 12” in diameter or a reamer 24" long.
The cup form of wheel used gives a ?at clearance and a stronger cutting edge than that resulting from a disc wheel.
Spindle: Steel, hardened and ground, and runs in bronze boxes which are provided with means of adjustment for wear.
Countershaft: Has tight and loose pulleys 6” diameter for 2” belt and should run 700 revolutions per minute.
Weight: Net, about 1,500 pounds. Boxed for shipment, about 1,750 pounds.
Floor Space: 35” x 96½”.
Price: Including countershaft, wrenches, and emery wheel. On application.
For sharpening Face Mills and side teeth of Side Mills a suitable ?xture can be furnished and also a ?xture for sharpening the end teeth of End Mills. |
