This appeared in no other trade publications. A complete review of the Meadville newspaper for 1910 found no mention of Yost buying the Meadville Vise plant. It did find articles about Yost buying Williamson Vise Co. in June 1910. Meadville/Barrett had been in the same Arch St. plant for some years, and had lobbied unsuccessfully to get the street paved for their heavy wagons.
