SWIVEL CLAMP DRILL.

The new swivel clamp drill here illustrated is provided with two sets of double gears for change of speed. A simple device is introduced which makes the drill self feeding. When desired the handle or crank can be attached direct to the top of the spindle. As the crank slides freely in its socket, it an be so operated as to permit the use of the drill in corners and cramped places where the usual construction would be useless. The drill will bore any size up to l inch. The traverse of the spindle in 4½ inches, the greatest distance between the post and drill bit in 10 inches, the greatest distance between the clamps is 7 inches, and the full length of post is 26 inches. This drill is made by Boynton & Plummer of Worcester, Mass.
