Image Description:
Figure 3 is the "Queen City Portable Vertical Engine", made by the Blymyer Manufacturing Co., of Cincinnati, Ohio. The engraving sufficiently illustrates this machine. Although solidly seated, it is easily moved from place to place by means of a truck or a wagon made for the purpose, as shown in figure 4. The engine is easily loaded on the truck, a few minutes work only being necessary. It is thus adapted to all the uses for which both portable and stationary engines are required. A gold medal was awarded this engine at the Alabama State Fair in 1876, the first and only time it has been placed on exhibition
