Original order documentation shows Walter Kidde & Company in New Jersey as the original owner. I bought this lathe from a mechanic in Louisiana who purchased the lathe from a vocational school in Louisiana. When I purchased the lathe, it was extremely dirty and poorly lubricated but has turned out to be in excellent mechanical condition only requiring a replacement power feed worm wheel and cross slide screw nut. I am in the process of completing a full restoration. |
