Machine was purchased locally in Virginia Beach. Previous owner had repainted the machine in a two tone color scheme of red and black. Nothing was left unpainted. Note to self: Run the other way when you find a machine totally covered in paint again.

This one should have been a parts donor, but in penance to the ARN gods I went ahead and rebuilt it with new bearings, paint and clean up. I had to put a replacement chuck on it and I went with one from the local woodcraft. It was an import keyless version, it looked pretty, but couldnt hold a large forstner bit without slipping. I had thought about putting one on my Clausing, but after that, said the hell with that idea.

This machine took quite a bit of work, was sold locally afterward (Like I said, I have a Clausing). Was not worth the time and effort I put into it, but it was "educational". Nuff said.
