Comments:
I bought this lathe a while back. The gentleman who sold it attached it to an ironing board (really). It has a generic motor, but seems to work well. It's about 43" long, and it won't hold very thick wood for turning, but that's not an issue. It has a 6" and 10" support for tools. The shop is slowly turning into shape after the long move from Virginia (sigh), and the short journey from Ohio (yeah). In case you're wondering about the metal workbench to which the wood one is attached, it's an avionics bench complete with a step up/down transformer capable of generating various voltages. There is no tag on this Walker Turner Lathe, so any information you might offer will be appreciated.
