This saw was won by my father at the NM State Fair in 1953 or 54. He used it on several major projects in his lifetime including as the key tool to put an addition on the family home in the early 1960's. I've used it to build bookcases, picture frames, finish off an addition to my first house, use a masonry blade on it for tile and brick. A workhorse for 56 years. To my knowledge there it has never been repaired. What you see in the photos is the original saw.

I have the Instruction Book (dated 5-53); two copies of the "DeWalt Power Shop" catalog (one w/ an October 1, 1953 price list); a Repair Parts book; and a Tools and Accessories book w/ a July 1, 1953 price list.
