Found this Powermatic model 65 on CL and purchased it in August 2008. The gentleman I got it from had purchased it from the original cabinet maker owner without understanding the motor was 3 phase and would not work in his residential garage. I rebuilt it: new bearings, belts, single phase 3hp motor, clean, lube, paint and put it back into service early in 2009. This saw is one serial number (9-916) away from the model 65 posted on OWWM by Kirk Poore (9-915). I followed Kirk’s lead and used a new two-belt sheave on the new 3 hp single phase Leeson motor. Thanks Kirk, your posting saved my time, frustration and money.
