This machine was the only shaper we owned at a company I worked for in the early 80's. It was adequate for most of our shaping needs, but as we started to get into more elaborate millwork, we found it to be undersized at 2 H.P. I purchased it for $75.00 at an in-house company auction. In the background you can see an older Rayco Co. single spindle pneumatic boring machine that I purchased for $175 from a local tool merchant.
