Four Legged Beaver
>> Acquired this saw Sept 26/10 from ksmith who had the saw listed on BOYD .
The saw originaly belonged to her father & she wanted it to go to a good home, & it has, it will be well cared for. Her father bought it new in the early 1950's.
>> The saw has come equiped with :
Original "Art Deco Beaver Mitre Gauge" , spare mitre gauge
Original "Art Deco Beaver Stand" & Original fence
The saw is powered by an older 1/2 hp motor made by Brookmotors Ltd, Hudderfield, England.
>> Also supplied with the saw was a box of accessories including:
- Extra table insert for dato blade
- One 6" set of Dado blades (2 out side / 4 inside)with dirty paper
- One Set of blade stiffners
- Two sets of Dado Sawing Wobble-washers made by Ashman Tools with dirty paper
- One origial Beaver #4 molding cutter
- One original Beaver 8" blade
- Nine various branded blades
- Three carburendum blades
>> A partial to full restoration to come in the near future.
