I got this saw from my "uncle" (not my father's or mother's brother, but an old family friend) Joe Smith of Quincy, FL, in 1972. To my personal knowledge, Uncle Joe had had that saw since 1954, that being the first time he let me "use" it (guided my 5 year old hands to cut a piece of wood for a rocking horse).
