This is a heavy 8" x 144" 5HP edge sander I purchased from a small cabinet shop in Millinocket, Maine. The main casting is heavily embossed with ' THE INDIANA LINE ' of Brazil, Indiana and model appears to be ' ES-1 '. There is also ' No 12' on one end of the machine however not sure what this denotes. The machine is non-oscillating. Previous owner repowered the unit with modern 5HP 1150 RPM 3 phase motor and newer OSHA approved controls. This is a single sided sander with adjustable end table for inside radius work similar to a spindle sander. Overall this is a big heavy simple machine with few moving parts and those that do are quite robust.
