This is one of 8 turn buckle clamps I have that are from a Francis hydraulic veneer press. I was not able to save the press itself but did manage to save the pump, name plack and these clamps. These clamps are represented in the 1912 and 1913 patents to the company, pat nos. 1,016,258 and 1,073,414. They are about 36" long.
