Just purchased this machine off CG. I didn't really need it but couldn't resist. It appears to be all there and runs great! I gave Delta a call and they stated it was a model 1440 and was made in 1947 based on the serial number. I didn't get much information on its history other than it was purchased by the previous owner off someone in Iowa 25 years ago. He in turn only used it once. I snapped the pictures below after cleaning off some of the oil and dust. I'll be giving it a thorough cleaning soon and begin the restoration. I can't decide whether to keep it the original darker gray or go with the newer pale Delta gray.
