Finally got the new house built and dragged this out of storage. This appears to be one of the first production model Parks planers sold by Sears. And no, the model number is not a typo, it IS 112.1801. The dust hood has two adjustment screws and pivots on the cutter head shaft! Gee, I wonder why they changed to the configuration we're all familiar with. The adjustment for the pressure bar doesn't use the acorn nuts and the gearbox doesn't appear to hang on a bushing. The Craftsman blue is the original paint color. Working with Doug Rewerts to hash out the lineage on this. I'll get updated photos posted soon.
