I bought this mill from a defunct machine shop east of Tulsa, OK. It was under power when I arrived and I unhooked it and we pulled it out of the small shop with a track loader and set it onto my trailer for the trip home. It had a collet adapter in it, I still don't know what collet style it is, but this spindle is a B&S #9. It was a 440V 2 speed motor. Power feed in X, originally came with the End Rod Set and coolant system. I do not have the End Rod Set and I swapped motors out to a dual voltage 3 HP single speed. I still have the factory motor. With a call to Wells Index, they pulled the birth certificate and sent me a copy, it was purchased by the Sunbeam Corp in Cicero Ill, on 9-24-56 and sold by the EL Essley Machine Co. It was delivered on 2-8-1957. Both the Sunbeam and EL Essley tags are still on it. As far as I know it is original paint, or at least all the tags and decals have not been painted over.
