Here is a second DeWalt Monarch 20 bandsaw to be listed on the site.

The design is from the American Saw Mill Co., which went out of business in the late 50's and sold off whatever designs they could.
The Monarch 20" BS and 8" jointer went to AMF and was sold under the DeWalt name. American sold this BS for many years prior to selling it to AMF. There are several American catalogs on the site showing this saw. AMF sold DeWalt to B&D in 1960, so this saw was only sold under the AMF/DeWalt name for a very short time, maybe 5 years?

I had been looking for a 20" class BS for some time, and this appeared on the local C list. It was listed as having the table/s lost, (after being removed for transport), and the PO claimed to have had little or no interest in it. I saved his info and we agreed I'd call back in a few months to see if he could find the tables. I did and he didn't, so I offered a partial payment just to get it home.
I'm hoping he can find the table and if not, I'll try to find them via BOYD.

In addition to the missing tables, cover latches are missing, a piece of sheet metal needs straightening, and the guides need a good cleaning.

It has the 1 hp, 3 ph, 850 rpm direct drive motor. Both wheels spin very easy and smooth.
All images in as received condition, except for blowing off the dust and wiping down.

Update Feb 24, 2013 - PO did find the missing table and even delivered it, so now the saw is at least complete. I rebuilt the guides and made a cleat so I could mount the table (the trunnion is broken). I need to make a wheeled base as the existing one is coming apart and get a VFD for it to start using it. It will also need new tires.
