I traded a 2002 Powermatic Model 66 table saw with a 5 hp single-phase motor for $2000 and this Powermatic Model 65 table saw. This saw had a 1 1/2 hp single-phase motor that had broken the shaft twice. I replaced the motor with a new 3 hp single-phase 145 frame TEFC Leeson motor. The saw was in good condition except for the motor. I sand blasted the cabinet and repainted it with Sherwin Williams Powermatic green enamel. I replaced the belts and bearings in the arbor. The saw is better than new now!
