This machine was bought by my brother in Houston, TX for $200. I believe it was waiting in a storage unit for us to pick it up. Sometime before that it was used in the Tomball school district. I wish I had a good before picture because it was pretty rough. The cutter head was bear, no blades, bolts or throat plates. BUT the all important brass gear was in very good shape. I had a set of throat plates made, replaced all the sheet metal and bought the round red knob for the shifter. I took the original motor to the shop and had the bearings changed, winding reinsulated and new leads brought out. I'm going to attempt to have the brass gear made just in case this one fails. It took on and off about two years to complete the rebuild that should have only taken a few months. I'm also working on the emblem that goes on the chip breaker.
