Got this off an old builder of mine. His dad bought in late sixties from the reformatory for $700, lot of money then. PO ran the motor in the ground and when he got the estimate for the repair he threw his arms into the air. Didn't go back and retrieve the motor or pulley. His shop is kinda like a clubhouse with a cast of characters coming in and out shoving all sorts of salvage into this ex-con. I suspect if the machine had been kept in adjustment the motor wouldn't have failed.
This looks a lot more challenging than any machine I've done. Will be relying on the Mothership and members to get through this.
