Comments:
Machine acquired from upstate NY. Originally came from trade school. Photograph tends to be misleading. Entire machine was covered in thirty years of grease and grime. After TLCleaning, grinding attachment revealed like new sheen. The reflection of sound shroud on bed is misleading also because bed was covered in same grime and surface rust. Cutterhead area covered in surface rust and outter castings and covers with scratches of missing paint. Machine came with original purchase/sales slip and original cutterhead guard. The machine is entirely original except for two sheet metal screws on top cover and three nuts from micro roller bed adjustments. Interesting machine because of 1984 manufacturing date. This machine may or may not be "first wave" that came from manufacturer during the new era of the new economy forwarded by the Reagan administratiion. American flag logo reads, "Getting America Going and Growing." Whether that is important to a collector or whether this machine would ever be considered a collector item is unknown to me. Love the machine though, and looking forward to delving into it. Well worth the adventure.
