To my knowledge there are no examples of this saw listed here so I'm posting these photos from a Craigslist ad that came and went years ago. The sheet metal base versions of these saws are the last of the Atlas-made Craftsman table saws, and are rare.I have to assume they did not sell well. This is not my saw.
These saws are equivalent to the Atlas-badged S8-ES series, the last letter indicating Steel (as opposed to cast iron). See http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=635 and
http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=3821 But in contrast to those saws this one is badged as a Craftsman and features the older style asymmetrical fence casting.
