This was posted as a classified ad locally, in southern ontario. It is a Brown Metal Industries band saw, similar in all respects to the Vincent bandsaw. Not sure if the maker "Brown" came before or after Vincent, but they are clearly related. Manufacturer address on tag: 61 Mars Ave, Hamilton Ontario - within a few miles of Vincent Metal Industries, another clue that they are the same (or related) company.

* A google map search of this address shows a photo of a vacant industrial site. Whatever buildings these saws came out of have passed on into history.
