2-11-2013: This was found under the front porch of a home in Bailey, CO. The owner of the home had no history on the machine otherwise. Lots of rust, as expected. After I got it home and studied the entries on this website, I discovered my new drill press has missing knobs, depth gauge clamp, and spindle cover, as well as some other things. There is a chunk missing from the L side of the table, but there are no drill holes in the table. I paid way too much, but I love the helmet with ATLAS cast into the front. It is a classic look.
Updated 2-8-2017: Finished restoration. I was able to locate the missing quill lock, head lock, quill return mechanism, and power switch. (Thanks, Dave Lucitt and Bill Pierce!) This machine was largely rust, but it cleaned up ok, and the bearings must have been replaced not long before it was consigned to a presumed slow death under the porch, so I didn't replace any.
I used Rusteoleum aged copper metallic and hammered silver spray paint and lots of Boeshield and clear coat. There is some run-out which comes from a little play in the quill itself. I probably won't do anything about that since I don't know what to do.

Comments: I chose to polish the brass rather than try to re-paint it.
