I got this from a very sweet lady in her 80's living in Chicago. It belonged to her father who was an immigrant from Sweden who arrived here in 1910 at 22 years of age. He was a carpenter who primarily built houses for a living and did other carpentry work as a hobby. He was requested to build toys on several occassions for John D. Rockefeller' son, on the recommendation of a mutual acquaintance who knew of his quality work. After her father passed away it was used by her husband who was a cabinet maker.
I've seen this extended table before but did not realize how big and heavy this saw is until I helped my brother in law unload it from his van. He has threatened never to take delivery for me again. There are a couple pieces missing but after a telephone call to Chicago I'm told they have them so I guess he's in the delivery business again.
The motor is a General Electric A-C, 1/2hp, 1725rpm, 115/230v,Model:5KC43MG3X.

Comments: This thing is a bear. The switch is an old fuse box. All wiring is in great shape with the exception of the plug needs replacing.
