My father was a house framer and builder in Western CT from 1948 til late 1990's. I don't know where or when he had bought this, he seemed to have always had it. He used this when doing the interior trim. It was quite a conversation piece when another contractor or "competitor" stopped by the job site. His trim work was unrivaled, and he always wound up doing a little demo to show how it is done. I no longer have it, it was sold off as part of the estate, but at least I did get good photos. It is interesting that in the company description on this site there is no mention of Shelton, CT, but this is the grandfather same piece of equipment!
